bagels are unremarkable and the low fat cream cheese has a sour taste to it. oncee ordered a sandwich and will never make that mistake again, the ingredients did not taste fresh at all

The food was really good. And delivery was 30 minutes, which was under the promised time.

Called me at 8:40PM to say it is to late to deliver! I placed my order 20 minutes before they called me! They are two avenues away! Won't be using them again.

They can never get my order right...I have had to spell out how to cook the orders in the description and they still get the orders wrong. Order with caution

Bagel Stix has great food, and I order frequently. That being said, I tinker with my order once it arrives. If you have a microwave or toaster and want something hot, be prepared to do it yourself (cause it ain't coming that way.) As long as you anticipate this and don't mind stepping off your couch for 2 minutes, you won't be displeased with the quality of the food! You can ask for spreads on the side. The one time I placed an order and an item was out of stock (cole slaw), they sent me top smaller portions of the other salad (still charged,) as well as a large portion of the lox spread I had ordered on my bagel. (In addition to calling me twice, which I missed.) Well done, Bagel Stix! I appreciate the effort to be considerate.

Waited over an hour for one sandwich and arrived incorrectly
Posted a year ago by Brandy G.
Just ordered 5 bagel sandwiches none of them are correct. They charge to toast and didn't even toast the bagels. Two of the sandwiches were supposed to have cheese but don't have any. One of the egg sandwiches came with onions. Not worth another 50 minute wait for them to correct the order, wouldnt order from here again.

This place has HORRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT. and the people who work there must not know how to tell time at all. It took over 1 1/2 hours to get 2 bagles with bacon! thats ridiculous!
Posted a year ago by Ciara D.
HORRIBLE. Over an hour to have 1 toasted bagel delivered, barely had butter on it and everything was cold.
Posted a year ago by Arianna S.
Never order delivery. If you order there and get your food in real time it's okay, but delivery takes 1-1.5 hours for just a few blocks. They ignore paid for requests like toasting the bagel and everything comes ice cold. Blah

messed up an easy order...... this isn't brain surgery...

Quality of the food was fine but disappointingly they really messed up a simple order.
Ordered two breakfast sandwiches, two coffees and an orange juice. They forgot the orange juice and put cheese in the sandwiches instead of the bacon that was ordered.

Unimpressed with the bagel; even more unimpressed with the two hours it took for them to deliver a simple bagel with cream cheese and coffee.

good blueberry bagels.
Just shocking. Please don't order from here. Food took an hour and a half and was frozen when it arrived and totally incorrect in terms of order. Disgusting place. Ick. Wish I could give it a zero.

delicious, and they even stacked the meat & cheese in my sandwich like i do at home (meat, cheese, meat, cheese.. lol) -- love it!

Wow! I know it's just breakfast but its my fave meal of the day and I am sooo pleased with my first order. I ordered the Nova Salmon eggs, came with a bagel cream cheese and I ordered a side of bacon. I'm giving them a 5 because: food, service, delivery guy, quality, quantity of food was all perfect really. The eggs were like homemade and so much salmon, not just a few pieces but chalk full of salmon and onions! And the home fries, homemade with a spicy kick, well seasoned unlike most places that give u plain potatoes and ketchup. Coffee was creamy and delish. This place is great and will def order again.

After a year of dealing with them I'm done. I just waited an hour and 20 minutes for an egg bagel at work - they are 2 blocks away. It was cold cold cold

waited an hour for my b'fast sandwich and they forgot to include half my sandwich! Not worth it!

Admittedly I live pretty close, but for me, they always come in quicker than the projected delivery time. I only ever get assorted bagels (sandwiches or cream cheese) but they've always been fresh. Never gotten an order wrong and the delivery guys are polite. I can't ask for much else.

Today, at 10:34, my order was placed for Bagel Stix. It says it will take 45 minutes to 60 minutes. It is now 12 PM and I have not received it, which is nearly 90 minutes. Plus, when I called the restaurant, it took 5 minutes and 30 seconds for a person to pick up, and when I explained, she was not apologetic at all and told me to call Seamless if I have a problem. *UPDATE* Got the food at 1215. And everything was cold.
Posted 2 years ago by Philip M.
Its been 70 minutes and I STILL haven't received my bagels....
Food is great when you pick it up yourself. Unfortunately, they over commit by offering delivery... They take forever to arrive and toasted bagels end up arriving hard and cold.

I hate to be that guy because I legitimately love pick-a-bagel and Bagel Stix but here's what happened. I ordered an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheddar (all of which are upcharges on the seamless app) and it took 1 hr 45 minutes to get here. Granted... I ordered at a heavy brunch delivery time... but still bring in an extra delivery boy or SOMETHING... in addition, it was freezing cold and there was no sausage. :( I really wanted some sausage.
I think I just put down as a bad morning for them, I'll still order from them and still go and get myself a bagel on sunday mornings.

Manager/owner was very accomodative to my specific (custom) requests, which aren't normally allowed via Seamless...

I ordered the Sante Fe Salad based on the description provided, i.e. no meat was mentioned anywhere in the description. To my dismay, hidden half way down the bowl were chunks of sliced turkey. I'm giving this place 3 stars, however, because delivery was prompt, and the few bites I did have were tasty.
Posted 2 years ago by Nikhila R.
I would give it high stars if the place didn't take forever to deliver and if the spreads weren't so excruciatingly expensive.
However pluses are the awesome bagels and the spreads.

Ordered an onion bagel, nothing extra special, and the fat free veggie cream cheese: which had very chunky veggies. Enjoyed b/c I was craving a bagel. Ordered around 9:30 am, delivery time was expected.

Took more than 70 minutes to deliver a salad and was unapologetic when I called to complain. No attempt was made to compensate for the inconvenience. I would not recommend!

So good. Delivery at lunch time can be a slight wait, but that's somewhat expected.

I don't know what delivery man was on today, Sunday Jan 29th at 7:30am but he was the worst delivery guy I've ever experienced...and I've lived in NYC over 6 years. He banged on the door, threw the bag of food at me, and then banged again after I shut the door and grabbed the receipt out of my hands!! I was tempted to call Bagel Stix but figured it wasn't worth it....I will never order from here again. I can't believe that just happened....after I tipped the guy 20%!!! What a nasty, miserable person.

Awful service. Late delivery. Soggy bagel, thanks to a spilled coffee and then when I tried to contact someone to help with this they just kept transferring me back and forth from person to person and I was forced to explain my situation multiple times. Sheesh. Needless to say, I will NEVER order from these tools again. Plus the &10 bagle and lox wasn't all that great anyway. Way to go Bagel Stix, first time customer, last time order. Congratulations.

this is the best deli on the west side. and, their lox is incredible.

High quality but terrible delivery time, >1hr at times
Posted 3 years ago by Robert L.
Can't get to H&H? Then Bagel Stix is a solid second choice. Bagels are fresh and last for a couple of days if you toast them.
Posted 3 years ago by Marc K.
I LOVED the Bagel with salmon and cream cheese I ordered from here. It came quickly, and though slightly expensive (~$8) it was totally worth it. The plate came with everything you needed - tomato, onion, salmon and scallion cream cheese, which I requested.

My bagel came, but as for the rest of my platter (that is: cream cheese, lox, onions, tomatoes, lettuce) did not. If you want a meal on time or the right order, forget about it. This is my second try with Bagel Stix and it is my last.

This was a terrible experience. According to Seamless Web I placed an order for two bagels with cream cheese and two coffees at 11:31 AM, I received a confirmation email from Bagel Stix stating the order would be at my door in 15-30 minutes and by 12:45 PM the order still had not arrived. I phoned the restaurant and requested to know where the order was, if had gone through, and the woman on the other end simply stated that "it would be the next one."
The bagels were not delivered until 1:15 PM, almost TWO HOURS after the initial order was placed. If I had ordered Prime Rib during a snow storm I might be able to understand, but in this case...come on. Two hours? If I had known it would take that long I would've hand rolled the bagels myself and still had them baked and eaten before this delivery arrived.
This experience nearly ruined a lovely Sunday. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I will not be ordering from them again.

Had a catered order for a trade show hosting clients. The lox were great...the mini-bagels were so chewy and tough that no one could eat them, and breakfast turned out rather embarrassing for our company. I can't imagine that they were baked that morning. We've ordered in the past and had great bagels, so maybe went wrong with the mini's because they sell less.
